ECFAS benefits from the invaluable advice of a number of external experts. These experts form two advisory boards: the Core Services Exploitation Team (CSET), and the external Users Board (USB).
The CSET helps fostering the transversal exploitation of ECFAS products among core Copernicus services. The Services involved are the Land Monitoring (CLMS), the Marine Environment Monitoring (CMEMS), Emergency Management (CEMS) and the Climate Change (C3S). CSET members advise on the exploitation and scientific progress of ECFAS products and services and will provide recommendations regarding the developed tools, methods and algorithms.
The USB reflects on the progress of the project, bringing in strategically relevant knowledge and experience. The USB enables and facilitates stakeholder engagement. The USB includes representatives of the Copernicus User Forum of Germany, Spain, France, Greece and Italy.
