A special conference Connaissance de l’environnement océanique – Knowledge of the Ocean environment, was organised by Académie de Marine, together with Meteo France, to celebrate the ocean hertitage of Toulouse, France. The event took place from 16-17 March, 2022, and covered themes such as navigation, oceanology, science and technology, and the importance of Earth observation.
ECFAS’ Angelique Melet, Mercator Ocean International, took part in the event, with a presentation entitled, “Sea level rise: causes, drivers and risks,” in which she described the ECFAS system and its role in early warning and rapid response to coastal flood threats.
