The Copernicus Hackathon – Bari 2021 was a 3-day non-stop event, carried out entirely online, in which developers, designers of web interfaces and mobile apps, but also young innovators, passionate about data analysis, met to create mobile applications and data-driven innovations for Copernicus services.
The Copernicus Hackathon was designed to stimulate the creation of new business ideas based on Copernicus data and services! The Hackathon covered themes such as Space and Environment, imaging and image analysis expert, and face the challenges of real life, with the greatest experts in space, Earth observation, satellite imagery, open data and business.
ECFAS was featured during the hackathon, providing solutions towards coastal resilience in the face of extreme flooding events.
The event was organised by Planetek Italia and Sprint Lab.
