ECFAS visited Palermo in October to join the Associazione Italiana di Geografia fisica e Geomorfologia (AIGeo) Assembly, from 4-8 October.
AIGeo was established in 2000 on the initiative of the “National Group of Physical Geography and Geomorphology” of the National Research Council, Italy. The non-profit association aims to promote, encourage and coordinate geographic-physical and geomorphological research, as well as to promote initiatives for the training of physical geographers and geomorphologists and the dissemination of the culture of the territory and the environment.
ECFAS’ had a poster during the meeting, by Mucerino et al. entitled, “Storms, medicanes, and storm surges: response to the impacts along the Mediterranean coasts.”
